Choosing Flowers for Your Wedding

I think of all the things you need to consider in preparing for the perfect wedding, one of the most fun is choosing the flowers you’ll be using for your bouquet, corsages and for the ceremony site.

Although it will be such a thrill looking at different flower arrangements, make sure you know what you want before you spend too much time going from one flower shop to another. It will be quite stressful, especially if you’re running out of time and just trying to get too many things done. Make sure you keep yourself hydrated throughout a strenuous day shopping by bringing along your favorite beverage and keeping it cold with this personalized pink leather can cooler.

Most experienced wedding florists will work around your budget and if they had been in the business long enough, can present you options that are not too expensive. (I’ve actually heard of wedding florists charging as much as $10,000 for all the floral arrangements from the wedding bouquet to the centerpieces! That’s really a ridiculous number, if you ask me. In two day’s time, all of your flowers will wilt and you’re left with nothing but lovely pictures of them!

No wonder one blogger bride decided to go for silk flowers instead and got creative enough to hold their church wedding the Saturday after Easter, so they’ll have a flowered sanctuary already! Some people may frown at using artificial flowers on the special day, but hey, you get to keep them after the wedding, long enough for your kids to see a piece of your special day, right? That may not be such a bad idea, after all!
