Keeping it Intimate: Small Weddings

Whenever we think or plan our wedding, we always imagine it to be this big event with our families and friends. A huge wedding cake, a beautiful wedding gown with a 6 foot train, and a lavish after party or wedding reception to cap it off. Now, there’s no harm in having this and I certainly thought that this was what I wanted too, but I changed my mind after considering having an intimate wedding. Having an intimate wedding means having less than 75 guests, yes, you will have to let go of the marching band. Intimate weddings create a solemn ambiance in the ceremony, much like giving a personalized gift to your man say something like a Silver-Plated Pocket Watch; it can last a lifetime and he can keep it forever.

Small intimate weddings can happen anywhere, from your own backyard, a beach, a restaurant or at a trolley according to my blog source. Apart from the obvious benefit of having fewer expenses, small intimate weddings are perfect if you want to echo the reverence of the celebration. It is too easy to get caught up with having to think of a million things at the same time. You can rest assured that keeping it intimate will minimize the stress levels you feel and help you to start enjoying your big day instead.

Why not consider having a small wedding, besides, it’s never about the gown or the cake anyway, it’s about you and your partner exchanging vows.
