Should You Hire a Wedding Planner?
Weddings are big, hectic events, and sometimes, the thought of getting hitched is enough to make any bride or groom buckle under pressure, let alone have them plan the extravaganza that is their wedding day. To help them ease off stress, most couples hire a wedding planner or coordinator. I’ve known how disastrous it can be to plan a wedding by yourself, especially if you’re the one walking down the aisle. From worrying about whether the wedding cake has arrived to whether each flower girl has her sparkling entwined flower basket on hand, or that each little girl is even present; there are surely a million things going on in a wedding that a bride will have trouble handling everything by herself.
Hence, hiring professional wedding planners will help you get off the hook, but at the same time, have a say in what goes into your wedding. The good thing is that you won’t have to be the one running to the nearest flower shop just to get the rose petals for the flower basket or to make sure that the 400+ guests are accommodated. You can have the coordinator worry about this. Although it may mean splurging on a few hundred dollars for the coordinator fee, it will be worth it when all you really need to worry about as a bride, is looking lovely on your walk down the aisle.
