Vintage Style Weddings

I have always been a fan of the vintage style. Whether it be the hair, the makeup, the cute little mid-calf and cinched waist dress, everything about it makes me drool. So naturally, when my friend was asking ideas for a themed wedding, I automatically voted for vintage. She’s vouching ideas to her sister so she wants it to be special. Since her sister’s husband-to-be is an old vintage car restorer, I thought maybe it would be perfect if they have it as a 70s inspired wedding. I showed online pictures to my friend so that she can get an idea, for instance, her sister can get that simple white ribbon garter, or that gorgeous and classic Tulle veil. She doesn’t even have to have the long train, she can get that unconventional wedding gown. Instead of the usual column gown or that ballerina dress, she can instead opt for an empress cut, off-shoulder gown. It can be in a color that she likes apart from the traditional white.

As for her hair, she can have it in soft waves. She’s a natural blonde so having soft curls will look awesome on her. There are so many ways that couples can do a vintage style wedding. From the music, decor, to the clothes, having one will surely be a blast. Hopefully my sales pitch works, I’d be looking forward to great pictures of the wedding soon.
