Polishing Up for Your Big Day
When my friend asked for my opinion regarding the nail polish she was going to wear for big day, I was slightly taken aback. I hadn’t thought much about nail polish, let alone nail polish that you could wear on your wedding day. Luckily, I remembered that my bridesmaid suggested the color for my own nail polish. I kept it simple and wore a nude colored nail polish. It matched my bridesmaid’s nail polish as well and accentuated the simplicity pearl bracelet that each of them wore to the wedding.
Even though I think my friend won’t be going for such an understated color, this is the bride that’s walking down the aisle wearing a royal blue gown, after all. I still gave her some color choices. I mentioned that it would be best to pick a color that reverberates her gown although not too much since she still would want the focus to be on her face and gown. I suggested that a nudie would still work since it can help highlight all the other things she’s wearing. On the other hand, she can be absolutely bold and pair it with contrasting colors, like an orange or even a red! Although I would much rather see her in a more toned down color of nail polish, I have a feeling I’ll be in for a good surprise come the wedding day. However, I’m sure she’ll make the right decision.
