Dogs at the Wedding?

We received our son’s ring bearer gift the other week. He got a Personalized Rawlings Mini Baseball Bat from close friends of mine who have taken a liking to my youngest boy ever since he was a baby. But he isn’t the only ring bearer in the entourage. The couple has also decided to include their dog in the party. I was told that my son would have to be stringing him along, as he walks down the aisle. I’m not very sure he can do that, though. My son is not afraid of dogs, but he’s still a stranger to the couple’s dogs. So, we’re arranging for some bonding time with them. I think that’s cute.

I also think that it’s cute to have dogs be part of the wedding entourage. Many couples these days choose to do it especially since, some dogs are already considered a big part of the family. Although having them can be risky, in terms of the wedding ceremony going without hitches, it should be charming and endearing to see these dogs participate, whether they are well trained or not.

Have you been to a wedding party that included dogs in the entourage? How did it go and what was it like for you?
