Going Green on Your Wedding

If you feel like protecting the environment, even when you conduct your wedding day, then it is important to know that you won’t need to sacrifice style just to go ahead and get the wedding of your dreams. There are many ways that you can celebrate your big day and still save the environment at the same time. For instance, you can use a purple handmade paper invitation kit for the invites. If you want to emphasize the fact that your wedding is good for the environment, it would also help if you drive home to your guests that your wedding is celebrating in an eco-friendly style. You can also choose rings that are recycled. There are plenty of jewelers that offer recycled gold or silver as well as fair labor stones.

Another important aspect of the wedding are the flowers. Go for a local vendor so that you can cut back on the transportation and emissions that result from these vehicles. Moreover, there are also vegetable dyed silk made flowers that you can use for your bouquet. These are perfect for preservation and anybody can reuse them again. Of course, since you’re using environmentally friendly items on your wedding, why not also go for eco-friendly wedding gowns? If you want a brand new dress, go for ones made from sustainable fabric like hempsilk or natural silk. On the other hand, you can also go for reusable dresses. Maybe even rent one or something like that.
