Packing Light For A Romantic Getaway
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, most couples will surely have somewhere to go. Especially since Valentine’s is happening on a weekend, a quick getaway would most likely be in the plans. Here’s the thing though…sometimes packing for the getaway can be very, very time consuming and stressful, leaving one feeling like they shouldn’t go ahead with the vacation anymore.
The trick to enjoying the romantic getaway is to pack light and pack practically. One canvas travel bag per person should be enough, if you are just going to be away with your loved one for two nights and three days.
Plan your what you are going to wear ahead of time and choose clothes you can mix and match so that you won’t have to bring too many tops and bottoms. Don’t pack items you can buy there such as toiletries, because this will just be added bulk in your bag.
It’s no fun to drag heavy luggages too so pack only what you need. Besides, if this is your honeymoon or your first romantic getaway as a couple, you might not even need all those items because you will surely be cooped inside the hotel room.
