Veils: No longer Just For Brides
With plenty of fashionable people showing up in the world, it’s no surprise that you will see fashionistas experiment when it comes to clothing. There are some who like to wear certain kinds of fabric; fabric that’s not normally used in ordinary clothing. On the other hand, there are also creative people that aim to stand out from the rest of the crowd and purposely wear eye catching outfits to get people’s attention. Yes, think of Lady Gaga for instance. Even though her wardrobes are completely over the top, there is no denying that she can pull it off. However, on the more ordinary note. There are people who like to wear the wedding veil along with maybe a vintage jewelry set to go with it.
Although wearing a veil can certainly be a fashion statement, the veil is more popularly seen worn by brides. However, these aren’t the only pieces that are making a leap towards common wear when it comes to the wedding apparel circle. Even bridal gowns are taking these crucial step and are being seen worn among celebrities as purely evening wear or by ordinary people as just everyday wear. More and more designers are taking cue from the bridal theme and incorporating it into their clothes. All these things are helping to promote bridal wear, however, there are detractors of this practice. For instance, those who look at people that wear wedding veils on their face during non-wedding events as purely “not cute.”
In the end, it’s a matter of preference. If you think you can carry or pull out the look, then why not give it a go?
