Wedding Gown Ideas from the Oscars
After I helped picked out my friend’s Laura Ashley white jacket invitation kit, I could tell that she was intent to plan her wedding ahead of time. I think she’s pretty excited that she’s going to finally become Mrs. Waldorf in the next couple of months. However, we both know that her biggest decision has yet to come, what style of wedding gown to choose? Hence, she gathered all of us, her close friends to help her choose and come up with a nice design for her wedding gown. And what better way to actually get great ideas than to watch the Oscars! As I write this now, we’re just finishing up in watching the show and boy, did we see a lot of great gowns. Of course, now we have to sort out tons of stills and pick out which design would work for my friend.
She absolutely adored the gown that Best Actress Sandra Bullock sashayed with on the red carpet, although she might want to tone down the silver. Nevertheless, it looked great! Another gown that she wanted was one with prints, obviously, she’s already decided she wasn’t going to be a traditional bride with the white gown. Hopefully we’ll come up with a great dress design soon.
