Formal Weddings or Laidback Weddings
Would it be too formal to give away executive gifts as a sign of appreciation towards your wedding entourage? Because a friend of mine is planning on really pushing through with a very formal wedding, everything else seems to be falling under this theme. And I know that she has been looking into these items as wedding favors.
I personally think that it is boring and constricting but then I guess, as weddings must fit into your personal style and taste, this does actually fit my friend’s style. She and her groom are set to marry in November, which is perhaps just right mood and season to dress up and don formal wear and behave in a very distinguished manner (as opposed to getting married in the fun of Summer).
I haven’t actually gone to a lot of formal weddings. Most that I went to were very causal and laidback, as these are mostly what my friends are like.
For formal weddings, one is required to really don glassy and elegant gowns for the women, and a black tie or white tie ensemble for the men. Formal weddings will have an orchestra, rather than a band. And formal weddings usually take place at a museum or a hotel ballroom, and not just in a less fancier area.
Which do you prefer — formal wedding or a laid back casual one?
