Spending for a Lavish Wedding

A nephew of mine has been pretty psyched about receiving personalized baseball gifts from his cousins. They chose him to be one of his junior groomsmen, it want would be a really grand wedding. And by grand, I do mean really lavish. The wedding has some 800 guests, can you imagine that? The entourage itself includes about 40 people. I guess some people really go all out to celebrate the most important day of their life. And if you have the money to spend for it, why no?

Fortunately for this couple, they have been pretty blessed financially and are also actually lucky to enjoy some of the perks of being able to have the right connections and network of people to work with. While it is really quite a lavish wedding, I was told that the couple are still working on an affordable budget and that they have not gone beyond their expected expenses. They were able to spend a lot for some of the other wedding business, such as the venue and the caterer, because they were able to ask of these as presents from their sponsors. Their line of work has afforded them to have all of the access to all of these. It’s a pretty smart move, I must say.

I’m not one to throw a lavish wedding or a party for that matter, but if you have the resources to do so, then, why not, right?
