Shopping For Someone Else’s Groomsmen
I think of gifts for men, like a brother, uncle, male cousins, or friends or my own husband and immediately, what comes to mind are sports gifts. But not all men like the same kind of sports. I could give my eighteen year old nephew someĀ personalized hockey gifts since he’s so into it, but I doubt his father would appreciate the same kind of presents, let alone his brother, who I realize isn’t actually a sports dude.
These are the things one must consider before setting out and buying something. It’s in knowing what the person is like first, before you decide on buying their presents.
That’s why from my brother’s wedding, which we helped organize until it culminated a month ago, we actually did have a hard time shopping around for presents for his groomsmen. Since he hated shopping of any kind, he instead helped out by providing a short profile of each of his groomsmen so that shopping for them would be easier. Of course, it helped that I got to know some of them a little bit better so I could somehow gauge the kind of presents they would like.
And thankfully, we ended up getting them some really nice presents. I know they loved it since I see some of them using it quite often since the wedding.
