A Fishy Wedding
I have a friend who loves fishing so much. He says it relaxes him and he would go to the lake every weekend to do this. He loved it so much that the wedding he had last summer was done by the water. And then afterwards, there were a couple of wedding giveaways which included personalized fishing gifts.
I wasn’t able to go to the wedding but since it was done over the weekend and was a destination wedding, there were several other activities lined up afterwards. One of these activities included a fishing trip with most of the guests joining in. My friend even gave a few pointers on how to fish right, hoping to encourage others to join him on his next coming trips. It was almost like a wedding and a weekend camping at the same time. And this makes the wedding really more memorable and fun.
He’s so lucky to find a wife who supports this hobby of his all the way. She wasn’t into fishing the first time they met but now, she too comes along during his fishing trips and is quite the expert herself.
I’m sure it was a fun weekend destination wedding. But I’m a lot more sure the groom really had the time of his life.
