Douglas Hannant Collection

This week, I’ve been featuring plenty of wedding runway collections coming out. There are so many ideas that soon to be brides can get, in terms of wedding gown design, make up and hair styles in these wedding runway shows. For this blog, I’ll be featuring Douglas Hannant and his spring 2011 collection. Although you might not see any bridesmaid clutch with survival kit in any of these, rest assured that they are equally important and essential if you want to survive your big celebration.

Douglas Hannant has been a sought after designer for both celebrities and socialites. His latest collection features gorgeous Grecian shoulder designs as well as other key elements that any bride might want to adopt in her own wedding. Some of the key elements that he highlights includes the fairy dust makeup, empire cut waists on his gowns, floral headpieces which help to add drama to the hair, organza ruffles, pleats and lots of buttons. There were also dresses that featured beautiful porcelain blue floral designs which brings to mind expensive China.

All these elements can be subtly incorporated into any bride’s wedding celebration. Just make sure that it will help define who you are as a bride or couple so that you don’t end up looking and feeling awkward in wearing something you don’t like.
