Origins of the Wonderful Stationery
When I got my textured stainless steel flask from my friend the other day, it was accompanied with beautifully textured stationery. My friend also handwrote a note for me saying that the flask serves as a thank you for the help that I put in at her wedding. Now, I’ve never been one to dwell on details too much but looking at the paper that my friend used, it was hard not to get caught up in the detail. It was so elegant and gorgeous that it looked like an expensive piece of paper.
The use of the paper stationery has been around for quite some time. Ideally, the word stationary itself meant so many things like office supplies, paper, greeting cards, pencil etc. However, most people use the term to simply mean a special type of paper. Most people that are familiar with beautifully designed paper stationery are mostly teens who used to receive love note from their special someone or their crushes. There is a whole variety on designs that can be found in today’s paper. They can be embossed, printed with special pictures and feature other designs. This special type of paper can be used to print out greeting cards, wedding invitations and special notes.
