Groomsmen Speeches? Just K.I.S.S.

One time, we took this Personalized Sit ‘N Sip Cooler which was a gift my husband got from playing groomsman in one of his friend’s wedding. We were gonna spend a quiet and relaxing time just off the reservoir park amongst friends and this cooler would be perfect for it. It’s the first time we are going to use it. If I didn’t pull it off the storage, my husband would have forgotten we had it.

But, we both will never forget what wedding it was. For it was the night of the longest speech ever! One of the other groomsmen had prepared to talk about the wedded couple and guess what? The speech took about fifteen minutes to finish! I’m not sure if that person was drunk or had too much of something, but he kept on and on and had so many stories to tell about the bride and groom. At times it was amusing, but most of the time, we had really wanted him to just sit down and finish his speech. I think it was the band who got him to stop and they played the music louder and louder to drown him out.

Note to all groomsmen, always keep your toast and speech amusing and short or KISS — Keep it simple, silly! Remember, the star of the wedding is the couple, not you.
