Marriage Vow Renewals is a Growing Celebrity Trend
The Platinum Hearts Invitation Kit for one of my friend’s wedding renewal ceremony arrived today and we are going to help them distribute this to friends and family. We’re actually very excited and pleased about this event because it really solidifies their relationship, one of the longest I’ve known since High School. Not a lot of couple last way after that and I do believe that a vow renewal is in order.
A lot of famous people, however, seemed to be having their vows renewed these days that it has become a growing trend. Some are in fact renewing their vows even after a year of marriage, which I find really unnecessary. In Hollywood, I think this is more of a statement, as one would be so enthusiastic about fashion. It’s not so much the vows and what it means to the relationship, but more on what it means to their public image. Isn’t that right? Then again, if you are someone married to a Hollywood star or a person equally famous, one year of marriage is indeed a milestone.
But I do not like the way these celebrities trivializes the institution of marriage when there are couples like my friends who truly represents what it means to stand together, till death do them part.
