Choosing Wedding Entertainment
I was once in a wedding where a group of friends by the groom performed some really cute musical numbers using only stainless steel harmonicas as accompaniment. It was one of the highlights of the wedding, one that every guest appreciated to have witnessed. To this day, I can still vividly remember how it made that wedding very unique and totally beautiful.
Picking out entertainment for your wedding really depends on what you want to have. Normally, every couple decided to go with a band that can play their favorite music and dish out dance tunes that their guests would love to party with. Other couples pick a DJ to play their favorite records. But some couples do spice entertainment up a little by adding a few special performance here and there.
These include:
1. A special number by one of your best friends or relatives.
2. Magic show. Seriously, some weddings do have this now and it’s quite entertaining.
3. A stand up comic up. This will probably require you to pay extra, on top of the band and singer, but if it’s something you want, then go for it.
4. Fireworks display. This would be perfect if you’re marrying in the summer or out on the wide open venue at night.
