Edible Wedding Favors
Not enough can be said about wedding favors, there are simply too many kinds that you can choose from. You can get small wedding favors like that heart shaped trinket box or get that specially made stuffed toy as your official wedding giveaways. However, for some couples who want to give their guests a real treat, they go for edible favors. Of course, it’s a bit tricky to give out wedding favors that might go bad, but there are some general rules to doing. All you have to do is follow them and make sure that your guest know the rules as well.
First, decide on which treat you want to give away. Make sure that it has a relatively long shelf-life so your guests won’t be biting into a mess of mold even if they forget to eat the favor right then and there. Second, some of the best edible favors include preserves like jam or dried fruit. It would be helpful to label what it is and when it will go bad so that your guest will know ahead of time to eat it. Third, you can also go for edible food that your guests can eat right away. You can distribute these at the party and let your guests enjoy them while they are enjoying your wedding program as well.
