Color Coding for Wedding Guest Dresses?
One of my friend recently became the maid of honor for her childhood friend’s wedding celebration. She gladly shared everything she went through in preparing for the party, finding the right dress and receiving a gorgeous personalized tranquility spa kit. As much as she adores the spa kit she received, she was kind of hoping that her friend would let her keep the dress that she wore to the event. It was actually a customized maid of honor gown in lavender, since it was the theme of the party. Even though it was a maid of honor dress, she says that it was beautiful enough to wear to an evening dinner date etc. Unfortunately, they all had to return the dress since the couple are donating it for charity.
However, she’s still hoping to be able to place a bid for it since the organization the couple donated it to are auctioning off the dresses online. It wasn’t just the entourage and the couple that looked awesome on the event, she said. Even the guests participated in the theme by wearing dresses and clothes that were in a similar color to that of the theme. The couple gave their guests a heads up on what to wear and it definitely turned out awesome.
