A His and Her Wedding
If you are looking to celebrate a wedding, you might want to consider having a his and her theme. This means balancing both the feminine and masculine part of the wedding including the decor, the colors and other parts of the theme. However, perhaps the easiest way to have a his and her wedding theme would be to separate the colors into blue or pink (or any other colors that you might think represents you and your spouse.)
You can start off with the color of the invitations. You can announce to your guests via the invite, about the theme so that they can wear or at least bear a color that will help them identify with the theme. Normally, a pink and blue theme is the most common when it comes to having this kind of themed wedding. Furthermore, you can stretch it by using the colors as decor for your wedding reception as well as decorating cupcakes or your dessert table with the same color scheme. Normally, a baby blue and pink wedding theme gives off a very relaxing vibe similar to that of a baby shower. You can also add another pop of color that will help compliment the existing scheme.
