Will You Go For the Cupcake?
Like a lot of weddings throughout the years, there are plenty of couples that join in on the latest trends when it comes to celebrating their wedding. There was a time when vintage wedding themes were the hottest trend in town and although plenty of couples still go for it, it’s considerably not as rampant as before. On the other hand, unusual, or should I say, untraditional, weddings have also become quite popular. It’s no longer shocking to see a bride and groom drink from a titan large stainless steel 32 oz liquor flask for their first drink together.
However, one of the latest trends to hit soon to be married couples is the choice of cupcake over having an actual wedding cake. Cupcakes have been a favorite wedding dessert staple since forever, but lately they have been taking center stage and actually being used as a replacement for the actual wedding cake. Of course, there are plenty of advantages here. For one, there’s the fact that you get to save up actually spending on a huge and expensive wedding cake. Moreover, they look absolutely pretty when set up and placed in front of the guest. It’s also much easier to distribute to guests when it’s time to eat. Although I’m not sure when this particular trend is dying out, the fact is that they do look good and tasty and add to the uniqueness of your very own wedding.
