Re-Gifting Suggestions
During weddings, it can’t be helped that we receive presents that we are less than thrilled about. Although we are normally happy about what we get, there are certain gift items that we receive that we simply don’t have a need for. Oftentimes, we also don’t want them or know that someone else we know might need them more than we do. For instance, my brother recently gave away his oppulence stainless steel square frame cufflinks to his friend since he doesn’t really need it. Even though it was a present on his wedding day, he rarely uses cufflinks and he has more than enough if in case he does need a pair handy.
The thing is that there is nothing particularly wrong with regifting as long as you know that you will not need the present in the first place. Also, always check the item first before re-gifting. Take out any receipts that might be stuck onto the package or anywhere else. Make sure to wipe it clean or dust it off. The last thing you want to do is re-gift a present that already looks worn out or used. You would be better off buying a new one if you do.
