Pairing Your Wedding Gown with the Best Jewelry

Picking out the right wedding gown that will accent your face is one thing, but choosing the right accessories to go with the gown is another. It’s important to think about how the entire ensemble will look like with each other. In the end, you will be photographed more than a dozen times – for your official wedding pics or simply for your niece’s personalized flower girl frame - in the getup and you really don’t want to look back and say, “Omg, what was I thinking?!” Hence, the best thing to do would be to already plan and consider how everything will look together on your big day. Now, you might think that accessories or jewelry won’t greatly affect your look. Besides, people will often focus on your wedding gown and face instead of nitpicking on the type of jewelry you’ll be wearing.

To a certain extent, this is true. However, jewelry and other accessories can also drag away from your overall look, just the same as they could enhance it. So it’s important to know what type of accessories to wear to accent your wedding gown and face. For instance, wearing a veil can sometimes add drama to your ensemble or even just wearing simple but elegant drop earrings and nothing more. It is important that you consider how things will look like in the end. If possible don’t make your look too gaudy. Choose a few select pieces and try them on to see which one would work best. There are times when gowns look great with a necklace as an accent and there are times when they look so much better without. This also goes true for putting on makeup. Always consider what your options are instead of just layering everything together without much thought.
