The Wedding Ring
For a lot of people, one of the most important things about getting married is the actual exchanging of the vows and the placing of the wedding ring. In a lot of ways, this does serve as the highlight of a wedding since it marks the moment when two people become husband and wife. Of course, other elements of the wedding are also important like the Samay Watch Money Clip for the groomsmen or the beautiful wedding gown that the bride wants. All these things play a role but nothing is as prominent as that of the actual wedding ring.
Wedding rings actually date back centuries ago. Initially, only the wives wore the actual wedding ring on their fingers. However, when the 20th century came, it became customary for the husband to wear them as well. This signified that they were married and taken. During a wedding, the best man or the maid of honor can sometimes carry the ring or keep it prior to the exchange. However, in some weddings, there is usually a ring bearer (usually a little boy) that will carry the ring up to the altar and hand it to the bride and groom.
Whichever tradition or custom you follow, there’s no doubt that wedding rings have become a prominent piece in a wedding. It has become an essential part of the tradition and one that bears so much meaning.
