Weddings Over Long Weekends. Seriously?!?
I had this similar experience a few weeks ago during Thanksgiving. A friend of mine actually planned a wedding over the 4 day weekend of that holiday. I mean, come on! Who plans their Big Day on Thanksgiving?!? That’s the day to spend travel all over the planet to your families and spend time with them. No one wants to give up their TG holiday for a wedding. No matter how dear the friend is. But alas, at the end, I went to the wedding and to my surprise, so did a lot of other people. What are you thoughts on having a wedding on long weekends?
Thankfully, the joy of winter doesn’t stop at the holidays. Along with sparkly party dresses, spiced drinks and the hopeful holiday bonus, we also get to enjoy several long weekends during the colder months! Long weekends offer the perfect excuse to plan something special, and alongside ski trips and beach getaways, many couples see these three-day holidays as the ideal time to take their vows.
