Homemade or Store Bought? The eternal question

With the way that weddings can cost and the recession that our country is currently in.  There are a lot of brides that are taking the DIY route.  Any little bit helps, right?  I know my own limits, I know what I can and cannot do and making a veil at home is definitely something that I might try to attempt.  You can get wonderful prints and designs from various craft stores, then just bust out the sewing kit.  And if you start way in advance, you have the time to back up and correct any mistakes or even start over if you wish.  Weddings are expensive, doing some DIY ahead of time is smart and frugal.

Making my own veil has been my plans for months. But I’m nervous. I have sewn, but I’ve never made a veil before, and 2 tiers of 100 inches of tulle seems a bit intimidating. I feel like I could do a decent job…but perhaps OBridal could do an awesome job?
