A Different Wedding
Whoa, wait a minute. What’s with the title? Yes, you might wonder why. This person who wrote this article has a reason why she wants her wedding to be a little different from the traditional one. As a child, she has a dream wedding. This dream was very so nice that it comes with a great cost. However when she grew up, she realized that it’s not about following the traditional wedding and spending so much money over this stuff: where you’re pressured to find dresses and outfits for your bridesmaid, flower girls, bearers and etc. I like her simplicity. For me spending so much money on my wedding is not necessary. Instead of spending so much money, you and your partner can save it and build your new life together as one. I remember our officiating Pastor’s statement “It’s not about the wedding; it’s the life that you will build together after the wedding ceremony is what will matter most.” I’m not trying to convince you that you should not spend much on your wedding. If you’re out of budget, you should try to be creative. And if you’re the type of person who has this budget notebook, go ahead. Just remember to spent wise. But mostly I’ll remind you that your wedding will be just once in a lifetime. So, I suggest you make the most out of it. It’ll be so much fun to plan and organize your own wedding. Enjoy!
