Cultural/Spiritual Merging After the Wedding

Hmm, ever heard the statement that spiritual groups don’t allow their members to marry other religion than theirs? Oh well, now I know why because they only want their members to have a less stress regarding to which church will they go and follow. This also applies to their children. I have a friend whose mother was a catholic while her father was from a different religion. Every now and then she tells me she has difficulty on which religion to side on or choose because she both loves her parents but she only wishes she had only one religion so that she can’t be torn from two beliefs. Anyway, religion plays a very important role when choosing your partner in life. You both have to have one belief and settle to only one so that your future children will not experience my friend is experiencing now. I have seen many couples who have given up what they belief just to be with their love. now that’s a big leap and what I called sacrifice for one’s love.
